My stories...

New Year…

My it has been an awful long time since I came on here… thought I might just post something today!

2011 brought about a range of highlights and regrets, but I wouldn’t change anything, because the things I have learnt in 2011 I can guarantee will help me a lot in the new year and I think the rest of my life.

I had experiences I have never had to deal with before in 2011. It still amazes me how much it dictated my year, but I feel that although I am still trying to deal with the situation as well as try and understand it, it is a story which will come to some sort of resolution in 2012.

My highlight of 2011 was by far going to Dubai…. perhaps the most incredible and inspiring city on the planet ( I mean jeeez did you see those fireworks last night?!!). I would do anything to go back there, I would gladly live there as well! :D As well as that, certain voluntary things I have done this year have really been great, including teaching younger children cricket and holding a massive sports tournament in MK!

2012. This is big step up from 2011. For me, and for a lot of people around me, the most important year of my life. This is where I will turn 18, leave school, and maybe even start a whole new life in another city! The challenges I face this year are on a whole new level, and I know it isn’t going to be easy, and I knew that from the beginning of the school year. Socially, everything is definitely changing, I will part with some and stay close to others, its life and we just have to accept it! Hopefully as mentioned, some things need to come to a resolution in 2012, whatever happens, I am open to change and challenge.

For everyone who has managed to read this far, well done! Happy new year to you all, I hope all your wishes come true, all your hard work pays off and that 2012 gives you an exciting, joyful and prosperous journey!

I probably will not post on here for a very long time now… who knows… aha

And that ladies and gentlemen is why Kanye West & Jay-Z are the best.

It feels like Kanye really get’s the best out of Jay.

Such a fantastic man. Can we have him please America? Pretty please?

He doesn’t even try! lol

Every moment got better
every moment you’re with me,
every time I look in the mirror
I lose what I can see

—A song I wrote called “Forget Me”

Watching you smile, took me back for a while, where I find myself a little treat

—A song I wrote called “Never Came Back”

Back from an amazing place…

Whether you knew or not, I went to Dubai for the last week of the Easter holidays, and I will tell you now, this country is behind in almost every aspect!

Landing and looking out of the window when I was landing back in the UK, was just a sight which looked so faulted. I know its always quite depressing coming back from a nice sunny place etc. But this was something different.

The truth is. I haven’t seen the whole world to compare. But I would definitely consider living there when I am older, I completely understand why my old Geography teacher moved there!! I didn’t feel like a tourist there, we weren’t always doing touristy things, we really did soak up a real atmosphere for the place, and I could see myself being part of such an amazing system of people and society.

Whether I move away from this country at all is another question, but it really did get me thinking about how much this country has left to offer us young people any more. I mean, we are being taxed to life in comparison to other countries. We are the most heavily taxed country in the world. Our universities aren’t exactly going to get any cheaper or better in the far future, governments don’t seem to reduce things like that! Lets face it, some people here are so entranced in their own lives they forget how to be decent human beings. I just see so much more positive things abroad, especially this time, Dubai may have a few hidden faults, but people live there happily, regardless if they have money or not, and that is how it should be!

Well I apologize if that sounded ranty, but I promise I didn’t intend to! On a more positive note, I did go to the top of tallest tower in the world and see some pretty incredible sights! Dubai metro is pretty freaky seeing as nobody drives them, and they are robotic!!

I could go on, but im sure Google could give you a list of things, because I pretty much went to the major tourist stuff!

But believe me, I had the time of my life in Dubai, I would recommend everyone goes there in their lives, proof of how smart us humans are!!

1 year on…

I think it is roughly a year since I got Tumblr… Doesn’t time go fast?! I mean I didn’t count days or anything, I just was reading through old posts and found a post which I think I would have written this time last year.

I’ll be  honest now, I didn’t actually make this account. My good friend Laura, (if you are reading this Laura, HI!) I remember made this account for me while we were sitting in the old ILA in what was meant to be an IT lesson, of which our teacher pretty much failed us all! We were bored and she decided to make this account as a statement of her boredom and I ended up actually using it!

Well, I have very few followers on here… I kinda prefer it that way in some senses… can be more like a diary than anything! Well, those who actually read what I have posted in the year, thank you! Hope I haven’t bored you too much and my posts are interesting enough for you:)

Have a good evening fellow bloggers:)

work rest and rant

ahhh, time for another random post…

It’s been an okay past few weeks, I have pretty much devoted this term to working hard, and I have, but now every time I take an hour or 2 to not work, I always regret it and feel I need to work harder.

I mean, I did very little work yesterday, and even less today, now I just feel like I am not working hard enough and need to sit and just study. I don’t know what it is, I just really don’t want to fail or not get where I want to be!

Asides from that, the free time I have given myself has brought me joy and sadness. The joy came from India beating Australia in the cricket, and then beating Pakistan!! I know I am easily entertained, but my passion for cricket is as strong as anyone else’s for football!

The sadness… well, I say sadness, but it was more just a downturn period, which got me low, and then I managed to climb out for a week or so.

As much as I always try to decode people’s opinion of me, you just will never know. We are all 2 faced, in our own subtle and sneeky ways we are. We are all thinking different about different people, we behave differently around different people, I don’t think anyone on the planet can be exactly the same to every friend, or person!

I hope it isn’t just me who thinks this! (Or I think I will lose the very few followers I have!)

The few people we really don’t like are the 10p coin 2 faced bastards! They are the ones who are hard to decode as it is merely chance! They become more 2 faced with the help of their pride, ego and social status.

Weirdly, that wasn’t why I was “sad” a few weeks ago, if you want to know about that, then speak to me on chat or whatever!

Sorry, it was a bit of a ranty post, I hope someone agrees with my view, I think it is natural to be like that really…

Anyway, sorry to bore you, happy weekend!
